lets see...what has happened in the past month or so...graduation, some paintballing, um...bowling (i got a turkey: 3 strikes in a row), um...sadies way back like 3 days after my last post, and a new guitar: gibsont les paul standard (flame top, heratige cherry red), and a marshall tsl 122 amp, i tried the half stacks but found it too impractical to haul around and they take up way too much space at home. ill have pics later.
ok, the main reason for this post is that i used this feature on itunes that lets you see the songs you play the most. one thing to keep in mind is that this is starting from about mid august 2005 because i got my new dell xps desktop then so i had to switch all my songs onto the xps. so that means that the songs that i liked before then isn't played as much. so anyway, here they are. guess my #1 haha
1. Kanye West-Gold Digger. Well its actually the censored version with the uncensored added together which are number 5 and 6 respecively. so anyway ill start the list over again.
1. Green Day-Basket Case (110 times played, this means all the way through, not listening to half and switching songs.) Good song, its one of their older ones on the Dookie album.
2. Chris Brown-Run It (95 times) ehh...im kinda bored of it now, lots of songs on here i haven't listened to a lot for a while.
3. LL Cool J-Move Something (89 times) same here.
4. Cake-Short Skirt, Long Jacket (84 times) ok now, i like the riff. the monotone singer is funny, hes actually not really singing...more like reading the lyrics.
5. Kanye West-Gold Digger: Censored (82 times) If you know me, you know why.
6. Kanye West-Gold Digger:Uncensored (74 times) If you know me, you know why. he has a good point in the song though hahaha...so...together its 156 times played.
7. Kanye West-Jesus Walks (74) i like the beat, but im bored of it now.
8. AC/DC-Rock n' Roll Singer (72) I just started listening to it about 3 weeks ago. it will go higher. its a great song about not giving into what people think is right but doing what you want to do.
9. Ricky Martin-I Don't Care (72) Why is this here??? wow...well i think its cuz fat joe sings in here and its at the end."and who is that creepin' in da bac daw baut to hit him wit da fo fo fo...(echo more fo fos)" hahaha i love that part
10. Maroon 5-Harder to Breathe (71) great lyrics, great voice, great riff, great song.
11. Cake-Going the Distance (67) i like the catchy guitar part i like playing it on the guitar. bending the string and all haha
12. 50 Cent-Just a lil' Bit (66) good driving song while crusing around...i will be real with you guys too, its a good freaking song. hahahaha
13. Frankie J-More Than Words (66) Great voice. This i think is the best version of the song. fun to play on the guitar too.
14. Juelz Santana-There it Go aka: The Whistle Song (65) Phhit Wiew Phhit Wieeeww Phhit Wew.
15. Hoobastank-Running Away (61) I also like to play this on the guitar.
16. Petey Pablo-Freek A Leek (61) the beat is nice and the rapping isn't bad
17. R.Kelly-Ignition: remix version (61) ehh...i liked it for a week or so...
18. Ludacris-Stand Up (56) one of my faviorite songs. i don't listen to it as much as do anymore, this was before i switched computers so its been played way more than 56 times through.
19. 50 Cent-Candy Shop (54) same here, its been played at least 100 times haha no...way more.
20. Black Eyed Peas-My Humps (53) same as above.
21. White Stripes-Fell in Love With a Girl (53) short song, so its played through quickly, i like it though, nice guitar.
22. AeroSmith-Walk This Way (52) im into the older rock songs now. this is a classic. i wonder why AC/DC-Back in Black isnt on this list...it will be haha
23. Rob Zombie-Never Gonna Stop (51) nice racing song. there is better though.
24. Sean Paul-Temperature (51) good for a few weeks then way overplayed on tv, radio, other people's cars, etc.
25. Jay Z-Hustler (48) im bored of it now...but its a good song.
Lots of these songs aren't acutally my favorite songs...or even songs i like a lot anymore...i think i will post on this later maybe. anyway my itunes is now at 2889 songs, 8.5 days running if i played it all straight, 14.12 GB. it will be 3000 songs in about 5 days or so. im suprised Red Hot Chili Peppers isn't on the list. i think its cuz they have lots of good songs so i listen to several of them which brings down their count. i think that goes the same for B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, AC/DC (well its on there but theres lots more), and others like that. Listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers' new song Snow. i like the guitar part. my fav song of theirs id say is Can't Stop. anyway...yup....well...thats bout it for this post...cept, of course the end quote.
